The Fil de l'Étreinte (Thread of the Embrace) is a creation designed for those who wish to explore the unique sensations of BDSM barbed wire within a safe and controlled setting.

BARBED WIRE REIMAGINED THE ADRYX WAY FOR BDSM PLAY

Made of stainless steel 1.6 to 1.8 mm in diameter, each point is meticulously hand-ground in our workshop.

The barbs originally measure between 12 and 18 mm. They are brought down to lengths under 10 mm.

This artisanal work transforms a raw material into a sensory play tool, preserving the characteristic texture and look of barbed wire while eliminating the risk of cuts.

SAFETY FIRST

Like any sensory bondage practice, using barbed wire requires respecting a few fundamental rules:

• Always play with a partner, with a fully attentive active person
• Set a clear safeword before any session
• Never wrap around the neck, joints or vascular areas
• Keep wire cutters within reach to release quickly
• Inspect the wire before each use
• Clean the wire with isopropyl alcohol before and after use

Even well-shortened and ground barbs are not without risk of injury.

Base length: 4 metres — enough for partial wrapping or an introduction to contact play. For full-body wrapping, we recommend 10 to 15 metres.

CARE

Stainless steel, corrosion-resistant. Clean with isopropyl alcohol. Store away from moisture, roll protected. Avoid using on more than one person.
